No way can I work out the acronym, but who cares? I just love catching up on your musings as you well know. I enjoyed my day with you yesterday and my other commitments. Today spent reassessing and altering my will and POAs ready for the solicitor. It wasn't at all onerous as I had imagined during my months of miserable procrastination. On with the motley, tomorrow is another ever so busy day.

Isn't education a marvellous thing? and everyday of my life is an education - marvellous! After speaking to you the other day, I did some surfing and learnt about the ancient Greek 'Psyche' 'Soul' and Butterfly (compliment to memories of our visit to Kuranda). In modern/demotic Greek 'psyche' translates as soul but the word for butterfly has changed as so many of the complex ancient Greek originals. The fact that 'Psyche' has survived might imply that the depth of philosophy and implication of 'Soul' is too mysterious and marvellous for the Greek root structure to be altered. I love the stimulus your posts create in me. God Bless

It's sheer joy to find I didn't depart this planet during the night, but have awoken to yet another opportunity to achieve some unrequited ambition, learn another challenging lesson, share problems and joys with friends (like you), to especially find joy in a new day without war and suffering.
At the end of each day, I have joy in a gentle wind-down of the days activities as I climb into my lovely bed and look forward to a cosy few hours of refreshing sleep.
My joy is complete when Miki cat snuggles under the blankets beside me and purrs his contentment despite my ?snores.

Thank you so much Edith. That really cheers me up. I have started a more light hearted blog called Ageing to perfection. I'll send you the URL when I come back. It's on Windows Live blogs.

Kim, dear soul, I get more out of this site and your musings than I've ever received from church going. Don't stop. Sitting quietly on your terrace sounds like a wonderful way to start each day. I walk at 8.30am as many days a week as I can fit in, but meditative time sounds like something I should try to apply. Most week days my neighbour walks with me and this has an element of accountability that we've taken on with one another for keeping mobile as well as assisting in weight control. We usually share some of our daily happenings, concerns and joys. It often proves a valuable sounding board about issues that crop up either on the news, work or family. I find this is a blessing in the freshest part of the day and I come inside for breakfast with the pussy cats, shower and get my day going.
